Loma Prieta

Last City

Slave Union 23

Released on May 15, 2008

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Ten songs clocking in at around 23 minutes, with a beautiful layout to match. This will drag you into a time machine, which will dump you out sometime in the mid-90's. To your surprise, you look around and find there is still a sense of urgency amidst the screamy chaos, a feeling that it still actually means something.

Loma Prieta are here to prove, once and for all, that the original screamo/skramz sound of the nineties is not dead. In fact, this release not only pays homage to those days of punk rock but also modernizes that sound in pushing the envelope to create their own unique personal interpretation of the genre and thus making a name for themselves. Whatever you do, do not sleep on this band. Trust me.
