The Joys Of Living 2008 - 2010

Rise 600258

Released on April 5, 2011

SHARKS is rock & roll group with absolute heart. The band has built a strong reputation from their high energy live show. Kerrang Magazine picked SHARKS as their 4 artists to watch in 2011. Much of this has stemmed from the band touring the UK w/ Gaslight Anthem. US interest for SHARKS has also caught the attention of Alternative Press as they've picked SHARKS as one of their Bands To Know In '11

There seems to be a lot of hype around this band right now. Personally, i don't find these songs too great. It reminds me of midwestern-punk with some indie-rock influence. However, there are moments and songs on this collection that get me exited to check out their new album. Either way, it's 40,000x better than most of the shit on Rise Records.
