Dropkick Murphys

Going Out In Style

Dropkick Murphys 526916

Released on March 1, 2011

Dropkick Murphys are not your typical punk band, they're Boston's biggest rock band, a band that plays Irish music with punk roots. A band with enormous families and armies of friends. They roll deep. DKM's music is so fierce and furious, their stage presence so explosive, and their commitment to their fans so ironclad, one can't help but be moved. They are the AC/DC of Celtic punk rock. Their seventh studio album entitled "Going Out In Style" hits the street March 1, 2011

I guess Ken Casey is the main vocalist now? There is way, way too much Ken Casey vocals on this record and not even close to enough Al Barr Vocals. If I want to hear someone singing from DKM I want to hear Al Barr. Overall this record is kind of disappointing due to the overuse of Ken Casey vocals but the songs are pretty good. I’m going to need an Al Barr side project to make up for this one.
