it's great that this record is still available and on wicked broken records style splatter vinyl. these guys have gained most of their fame for having aaron cometbus of crimpshrine, cbds, etc... on the drums and i feel they're much better when he's seldom around or not around at all. 15 songs on this 10", all great dirty punk stuff from the bay, but just poppy enough to keep you coming back for another spin. all shotwell releases are great, some just take a few more spins than others. i find myself enjoying shotwell more and more in a world that's over crowded with mediocre pop punk stuff. i recommend this jam completely as well as 'the devil has it's day' cd

well this may or may not be my first exposure to Shotwell. I think I have to find some of their other releases to get a good idea about what they are about. They just seem to be a melodic punk band that isn't exactly off the wall in energy or rich in message. I'm open to find more about them. Not a bad release.
