Bleed Radio Bleed sounds like what would happen if members of post-hardcore and Bolivian metal bands, along with some musically-inclined college friends, invited the long time frontman of an indie-pop group to paste the melodies and lyrics from his aborted country solo album over psychedelic prog-rock songs in a basement studio. The band and album draw influence from jealousy; guilt; FAA transcripts of cockpit voice recordings from lost airliners; Jane Jacobs vs Robert Moses; Volcanologist David A Johnston; video of the 1973 Dutch Grand Prix; military prisons; Buckminster Fuller; backpacking the Andes; ladies; and some noisy rock bands. Members of the band formerly played in the power-pop collective Canadian Invasion and post-hardcore group Amertume, and have played every type of venue you can imagine. Now Bleed Radio Bleed is preparing to do the same.
