My Brain Hurts is flat out Screeching Weasel’s best album. From start to finish you won’t find a bad song on here. It’s my favorite Weasel album with Boogada & Anthem For A New Tomorrow right behind it in second & third place. If you could own only one Screeching Weasel album then it should be My Brain Hurts!

The album rocks. The only song that disapointed was "teengae freak show" and thats only because they do it so well live on there "thank you very little" album. This album is a must for all Screaching Weasel fans.

A perfect introduction to Screeching Weasel. Most of the tracks are just great, and the worst song ("Making You Cry") is still decent. The best song on MBH, and just about the best argument for SW's awesomeness, is "The Science of Myth," which is a punk song about religion that isn't negative. Imagine that.

In my opinion this is the best SW album and i got all of their's. If you are trying to figure out which of theirs to get first, it's this one. Best songs are "my brain hurts" and "guest list".

I love this cd. This cd is what got me into Weasel, which in my opinion is one of the best punk bands today. (Too bad they broke up again!) If you want a good starting cd for either SW or just punk in general I highly recommend this cd.

this is not sw at their best but its not their worst either. considering it was pretty early in their career, its not bad. theirs a few cool tracks like my brain hurts, veronica hates me and guest list. also science of myth is now one of my favorite all time songs from them. but there is a few crap songs like kamalas too nice and fat head. get it if you like them, dont if your a virgin weasel buyer. get anthem for a new tomorrow or bark like a dog instead.

Screeching Weasel was so cool. This cd is really great. Any cd by them is really great, but this one is one of their best. Highly recommended.

Excellent SW album. It's kind of similar to "Kill the Musicians", which is my favorite SW CD. In fact, five of the songs on this album are on "Kill....". I actually think I like the way they sound on this CD better, especially "Kamala's Too Nice" and "Science of Myth". This CD combines the melody of later SW with the speed of earlier SW, making it a must have for any fan of Ramones-type punk rock.
