The first time I heard La Dispute they were an opening act for Alexisonfire. I'm not going to lie, I thought they were pretty terrible.... My fiance on the other hand loved them and bought 'Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair'. After hearing the cd a few times in her car, I became hooked. I took the cd for myself and now listen to it almost weekly. 'Vancouver' while not as good as 'Somewhere at the Bottom...' still grabs your attention and is a very solid album. I would have given this 5 stars but 'Somewhere at the Bottom...' is such a great cd, I would rather you purchase that one first.
