I heard good things about this band but when I actually got the cd it sucked . The music is too jumpy and annoying and the only cool song on the cd is the black sabbath cover . I guess if your into this band get it cause it's only 8 bucks but otherwise stay away from the dickies !

A quick story first: my Dad has 2 copies of this record in the attic on yellow vinyl. I noticed a sticker on one of the records, hand-written by my Dad, saying "NO HITS." Since the Dickies had no major mainstream hits in the U.S. that's why the sticker's there.
Now back to the album. Optimistic, danceable, pleasurable punk. Not political, and that's good. Your friends may this you look like a wuss listening to this, but ignore them. You'll almost feel like a kid in a candy store listening to this, Millions of Dead Cops will never release a song called "Poodle Party" but these guys do. Fun, fun, fun.

An L.A. punk classic!!!! This is the epitome of the old school sound. If you like this album then check out other L.A. legends such as The Screamers, The Weirdos, Bags, X, and The Skulls.

Amazing. This is a lot better than I thought it would be. They even cover Black Sabbath. Track 2 is the best though. You should buy it.

Amazing! I had no idea this album was so good. The Dickies truly started something special. It's wonderful that they are still playing today. Great album with awesome tracks like "Eve of Destruction" and many more. If you are a fan of punk rock music (before it got lost), you will truly love this album.

If you want some really old classic pop-punk then you should definitely check this out. It is simple stuff but yet it has a lot of creative sounds to it for it being early era pop-punk. It has great guitar playing, insane lyrics, warped keyboard sounds, and lots of other suprises. What can I say, The Dickies are just all around fun. That and for $7.75 it's a great deal. Enjoy!
