i've been listening to the riverdales since the self-titled album came out, and this one is just as good as everything else they've ever done. i seriously wish they would go on a tour, i would love to see some of these songs played live.

OK, I have heard em all a hundred times and this is The best Riverdales record. Non stop riffing, no leads, high energy, great songs, fun songs, fast songs, no nasal vocals, ala Screeching Weasel, great sequencing. Short, to the point, get in get out, get it. A bubblegum blast.

Ah...... The 4th album! This is usually when bands start to lose their "touch" or start to follow a formula. All that fame and money leads to a quick, uninspired, self absorbed, 1 hit ipod wonder, so you can pay your pot dealer, 40 minute album of crap.

Or if you are the Riverdales, you just keep being the Riverdales. You try to keep the sound and ideals of one of the greatest rock & roll, and the greatest punk bands ever alive. The Ramones!

Those who get it do, and they are happy. Those who don't talk about using the same 3 chords, or not using enough melodies, or you cant understand the words, or "this album sound a little rough than the last one...blah blah".

It's the F--kin- Riverdales! Get the album, play it loud, and dont talk about it! If you need to discuss this band at length feel free. The rest of us will be at Hampton beach.

I give this a 4 1/2 stars because The first album will always be #1 in my heart.

The melodies and hooks on this album are fantastic, infectious even. It's simple and fun punk rock. I like the theme throughout the album, each track being about a really crappy movie. It's better than Storm The Streets but not as great as Phase 3. I'm hoping this means that there will be further Riverdales albums.

My least favorite Riverdales CD. I really like "Werewolf One" & "Rocket Ship X-M" and I can stomach..."Teenage Strangler". The rest of the songs are way too repetitive. I hate writing such a negative review for a band I love, but this album sucks. Their last effort "Phase 3 International" is easily one of the best pop-punk albums ever. In fact do yourself a favor and buy the first 3 Riverdales albums ("Self Titled", "Storm The Streets", Phase 3") and pass on this one. I can't believe this is so bad. At least they gave this album some decent cover art for once.

it's been a long wait and it has been worth it. Invasion USA was never gonna be another Storm the Streets but it's a great album in it's own right. Silly, fun lyrics, great catchy pop punk tunes and a running time that would make the Ramones proud. It's actually better than I hoped and there is a fifth album in the pipeline. Now if I could only make out the words to King Dinosaur....

another great riverdales album. I'm not really sure what else to say, it you like the ramones then get a riverdales album. This one is probably my second favorite next to Storm the streets

This is probably my least favorite album of the four they've released which is mainly due to the songs not being as catchy and memorable as they have been on their previous efforts. That being said, "Invasion USA" is still head and shoulders above 99% of the pop punk stuff out there and "Rocketship X-M", "Atomic Brain", and especially "Heart Out Of Season" rank up there with the rest of this band's best work.
