This is my favorite Pinhead Gunpowder CD that they have done. "Jump Salty" is also pretty good. There is a song on here called "My Returning" which is one of my all-time favorite songs. If you are looking for a Pinhead Gunpowder album, pick up this one!

Not great. Just like all the others from them. Give it up. The band that everyone wishes was good, just isn't that good.

Great Album probally there best if not a close 2nd with Jump Salty being 1, if you like this band you might want to pick up a crimpshrine album, or the fuel 7", and possibly kerplunk or smoothed out slapp happy hrs.

great cd. i love pinhead gunpowder and this and compulsive disclosure are their best to date. buy it if u like green day before they "sold out". best songs are swan song, great divide, brother, and of course the beloved life during wartime, pinhead gunpowder's second best song (black mountain part 2 reigns supreme in my opinion). good stuff.

This cd is awesome! Billie, Aaron and the other guys make a great job in ALL of the songs. The songs are very catchy and easy to listen. My favorite ones are Life during Lifetime and I walk alone. I can't wait until the new cd comes out in only 4 more days!

I bought this album for quite a simple reason. Green Day is my favorite band. Period. Plus, I've got both of the Frustrator's albums/eps. However, there is obviously more here than just a band that happens to have a member of a well-known band. This album contains a very large chunk of songs that beautifully compliment those found on Nimrod. Moreso in subject matter than sound, which is somewhere between Insomniac and 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. I was very pleasantly suprised by this album and any fan of Green Day more than likely will be too.

This is one of the best CDs I have at the moment. Every song (except for one or two) is awesome and I can easily listen to it all the way through without having a strong desire to press the "skip" button. The best songs are Song of my Returning, Brother, and Backyard Flames. For some reason everyone seems to love Life During Wartime on this site, but I dunno what makes it so great. Oh well, great CD. And all good singing! Unlike fucking Jump Salty with the ugly dude's voice. Ugh...

This CD is awesome, east bay punk rock. Billie Joe from Green Day plays guitar and he also sings on some songs. Aaron from Crimpshrine is the drummer. get this CD if you like really good melodic punk. alright peace

I've owned Pinhead Gunpowder's "Carry the Banner" EP for years now, and it's pretty much been in my CD player the entire time. I decided to try them again with this CD. It's good, but not at the level that Carry the Banner was. I think Carry the Banner will continue its rotation in my CD player, while Goodbye Elston Avenue won't get played quite as much.
