I have always been a fan of Dickie Barret's vocal style. And I love the illustration/painting on the cover. Very collectible 7".

I really enjoyed these songs! The Impossible Dream is a punk anthem about striving for greatness. Really inspirational and a joy to listen to, it makes me want to just wiggle about in my room as if I were in a circle pit. Even better is the more ska-traditional Next to Nothing. I like this B-side a lot more than the title track. It's quick, catchy, and sounds like the Bosstones at their best. It follows the same optimism of the previous song, this time looking forward to the future because nothing can be worse than what has already been endured. The Bosstones do a wonderful job creating two songs that are so in-your-face positive; and you don't even care because the music makes you feel happy enough to agree.

This 7" is great. The Impossible Dream sounds like the new stuff the bosstones are going for and it' be hard to not bobble your head. Next To Nothing has that traditional bosstones sound that's sure to make people wanna dance in their room. Overall, a very good buy. Get this before they're gone! Out of 500!

Two very good songs. Only dicks don't like The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
