Trap Them

Seizures In Barren Praise

(Backstabbers Inc., December Wolves, Unearth, Shai Hulud)

Deathwish 178

Released on November 11, 2008

$9.50
Buy

Trap Them are an absolutely brutal metal, hardcore, punk band. In Barren Praise shows Trap Them at their most vicious. Having mastered the art of aural bludgeoning, the album musically rips, stomps, and claws forth with rabid emotion -- all of this a fitting backdrop to Ryan McKenney’s lyrical stories of depression and pain.

“Barren Praise is a fictional ghost town version of every non-fiction town,” says McKenney. “Lyrically, previous Trap Them releases are all stories from people who had lived in Barren Praise before deciding to up and leave. This is the story of those who stayed behind to tell the stories of watching everything unfold...” states McKenney.

Its another Deathwish CD. This CD could be packaged with the new Rise+Fall and people would think its a double by the same band. Like Ive said before...If it has cover art by Jake Bannon and/or its recorded by Kurt Ballou you pretty much know what youre getting. Not a bad CD by any means...Just the usual Deathwish styled hardcore
