So What's Left Now

Vinyl Warning 8

Released on September 17, 2004

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Melancholy singalong punk. Combines the darker and more experimental aspects of bands like the Dead Kennedys and WARSAW & other late 70’s UK art punk with the anthemic choruses of LA’s Youth Brigade yet sounding nothing like any of those bands. Put these guys on a bill with the Stitches, Geisha Girls, Manikin and the Distraction and the art punks will go nuts!

Really really really good! This is why I still take chances on new music/bands. Unfortunatley I think this band broke up, but still the world is a better place for this record existing...(I think). I couldn't describe the sound to you, other than saying it's all the best part of good snotty punk rock music.

I first listened to this band when I heard their song Symbols, Slogans, Lies on the My Life In A Jugular Vein comp. Ever since I've been hooked. I was pissed off when I read somewhere that this was out of print but thank god it came back in stock. It's one of my favorite albums. It reminds me of some of the 80's hardcore bands.

Excellent CD. Raw. A must have for any fan of good music. I think Black Flag when i hear this. Too bad these guys are no more. Buy it now or die!

This was one of the better releases of 2004. Great meloncholic punk with twangy guitars, bouncy bass lines, and brooding vocals. Brings to mind some early 80's SoCal stuff (the darker tracks from the Adolescents, or the mid-tempo tracks from M.I.A.) mixed with late 70's UK pop infused punk (Newtown Neurotics and their ilk). Highly recommended.
