Carbonas (2007)

Released on November 26, 2007

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

The much-anticipated third album from Atlanta pop-edged punkers THE CARBONAS. “A taut, brilliant blast of both pop and punk. Given the record's running time, there's 'nary a wasted moment, riff or breath, as the band crams in a host of late-'70s/early-'80s Antipodean and East Coast rock influences, and strains those sounds through the Carbonas' distinctively greasy Southern sonic filter.”--Bob Mehr, Commercial Appeal

Really good power pop/punk band. This is CD is growing on me, but at the moment I can't think of any stand out tracks. I read about this band in MMR and they sounded very interesting to me. Good stuff if you are in to Jay Reatard and bands like that.
