3 Covers; Boys No Good -by Lifetime, Fix Me & Nervous Breakdown-by Black Flag, & 2 original songs. The Boys No Good cover is pretty good except for the "mock Intro". The Black Flag covers are decent but honestly nothing special. The originals are the strongest songs on the EP. Obstructed View would sound right at home on Revolutions Per Minute (Fast & melodic). But Tonight We Dance fits right in with The Sufferer & The Witness material (slower verses that build up to a powerful chorus).

Only for people who want a complete Rise Against collection. I don't think RA should cover Black Flag. I love RA's style and for me it just doesn't work on a Black Flag song. Obstructed View is the only real highlight from this album (which, yeah, should be about 2 bucks). And since that song is also on the Your Scene Sucks comp with 27 other songs for $9.50 that's probably the way to go. The Boys No Good is decent but that's about it. Only get this if you want to add it to your Rise Against shrine.

Meh. This CD is ok. A little overpriced for what you get, but if you're a collector it's kind of cool to have. The Lifetime cover is neat, 'cause it's not one you hear a lot, but the other Black Flag covers have been done....many times, by lots of people. The originals are pretty good, I would even say they could have replaced some of the songs on "Sufferer".

im a huge Rise Against fan so this was a must have for me.the first track is a cover, originally by Lifetime. its pretty cool. it sounds like it could have been on "the Unraveling" album. then track 2 and 5 are Black Flag songs. but its recorded to sound really old school and low productions like the original versions are. tracks 3 and 4 are written by Rise Against. they are pretty good too. the only thing that sucks is that this was $8.50 and its only 5 songs and it doesn't even come in a jewel case. its just like its a $2 sampler made from pressboard. but i like it. i would say its only for big Rise Against fans. oh and go see them live, its a good time.
