Hit The Deck

Walking Backwards

Cold Vomit 4

Released on May 8, 2007

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

After a release on Strike First Records, Ventura, CA's Hit The Deck present their final release through their own label, Cold Vomit Records, and sees them playing nine tracks of fast hardcore punk in the vein of Early '80s LA bands mixed with a mid-'80s New York feel. Yes, the band is Christian, but do not pander to that crowd, as they tackle political, social and personal issues in their lyrics.

I was a bit let down by this release. I love LOOK ALIVE and was hoping for a more solid release. To me it's as if HTD to a step back with their second full length. Maybe that's why they called it "walking backwards?" I don't know... but if you like : Minor Threat, GB, or basically any late 80' DC hardcore bands pick up HTD's LOOK ALIVE.
