This a pretty straight forward comp featuring mostly pop-punk. I personally think some of the songs don't really fit on this CD. To be honest, as much as I love Guff, they aren't really pop punk and I personally heard some melodic hardcore in there elsewhere. All that aside- the Pop Punk and power pop tracks are solid. In fact, despite the mislabeling, all the cuts are solid. I was a little disappointed that none of the tracks were really anything you couldn't get on an already or soon to be existing album. in-fact, some of the tracks i already had on other compilations. Overall- Dave Parasite did a pretty good job of putting this CD together, and the artwork by Mitch Clem is a nice perk.

Strong tracks- "Hey Hey Baby" The Spazzys; "Model Builder" Squirtgun "It Only Hurts When i Think" The Peabodies

Weakest track-"Anti Anthem"Janez Detd or maybe "Amy" River City High(which sounds like something you'd hear on the 'Light Rock and Adult Contemporary" station

I'll close with the fact that several of the tracks sound like the band is ripping off older artists, which shows that while pop punk is far from dead, it sure is getting stagnant. listen for the MTX and Ataris clones :3 still a damn fine comp though
