I really didnt know what to think when I heard Ferret signed Chimaira....but whatever. To be honest I've owned the past two cd's of theirs but have long since traded them in not really remembering what they sound like. I do remember them sounding much more Nu-Metalish than this though. This is a solid release, solid musicianship and song-writing. Although I'm not a fan of nu metal, and in this day and age good metalcore is few and far between. However, on "Resurrection" Chimaira do a pretty damn good job at being mostly metalcore just bridging over into Nu metal that, for the most part is enjoyable.
