Scenesters

#1 Comic Book

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

After a year of being an underground fan favorite through comic strips and toys, Scenesters drops it’s first full length comic book. Emo kids that are way too emo, punk kids that are trying way too hard to be punk, gutter punks with trust funds… the whole gammit! A giant double sized issue, clocking in at 64 pages, all full color / full gloss, in a limited pressing. If we can’t laugh at ourselves, that just leaves others laughing at us…

this is like the worst thing i have bought on interpunk - and believe me it has some pretty stiff competition (right against me!?). dumb stereotypes without the wit or pathos of good comics and shiny, so shiny.

This a great comic book! the cover is glosy and the colors are vibrate, this is very entertaining, i shared this with all of my friends and they all loved it too. If you are into comedy, action and stupidity and randomness, this is the comic book for you. I loved the characters, especially tater, and spike. One of least favorites is that older rocker guy, i dunno. But you should definately buy this.

The title says it all. It's pretty good though. I'd say get it. It's only what? 1.50$. Can't beat that.

I'm not a comic book guy, but I loved this. The characters represent the hardcore, pop, metal and old-school aspects of punk, and both their personalities and character development are awesome. The story is pretty predictable: the mis-adventures of a motley bunch of punks who want to get to shows, but it's well-written and designed. They do everyhting that punks do: get wasted, vomit, rebel against authority, flip people off and argue. I hope it stays cheap so I can get the next issue.
