Alright, heres my beef with underoath. i am a huge fan of the old underoath. with act of depression, cries of the past, and i really like the changing of times. which is why i was relatively dissapointed with they're only chasing safety. i still like the cd its just not the same music that i was used to hearing from underoath. i'm all for change and i think its phenomanol(spelled horribly wrong) that they are able to vary so much it thier sound. I had heard good things about define the great line and it is better than they're only chasing safety in my oppinion. but that catchyness and popiness are still there and it kind of annoys me. usually with a really good cd, i have to listen to it a couple times to get into the flow of the songs. this doesn't happen with this cd as the first time i put it in i could feel where the song was going to go. kind of predictable. i would say that if you are a fan of they're only chasing safety you will for the most part like this cd althouhg it is a bit heavier with some of the guitars. if you are like me and love the old stuff, you won't like it as much. its still a pretty decent cd.
