This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Formed in suburban Orange County in 1994, IGNITE, whose fan base has largely been developed through near-constant global touring, deliver a passionate and truly unique mix of hardcore, rock, and punk that has taken them and their message to over 30 countries worldwide. Their high-spirited career includes critically lauded records such as, A Place Called Home (2000), Past Our Means (1996) and Call On My Brothers (1995). IGNITE has also released various live seven inch, ten inch records and split CD’s in which all proceeds have been donated to many environmental groups that the group supports including The Sea Shepherd Society, Earth First and Orange County’s own Pacific Wildlife Foundation. The band’s new album (their first in 6 years), Our Darkest Days, shows a matured version of the intelligent, socially and politically aware, melodic brand of hardcore that IGNITE fans have come to expect.

A solid album with awesome vocals. I've wanted this album for a while now, and finally got it. This album is definitely way above average, but not quite perfect.

Just when those So. Cal. Hardcore titans couldn't get any better they release "Our Darkest Days". I'm telling you every single track is pure diamond. If you like melodic hardcore that kicks you in the teeth and then swirls you around in a fury of punches and kicks...then get this album!

Owning "A Place Called Home" I thought I'd give this recent album a try and wow, what an album this is. Even with the years between releases, Ignite don't miss a beat and even got better. You can never go wrong with Zoli's voice. He has by far the best voice in the punk/hardcore scene. It's like having opera mixed with hardcore in a way. By picking "Sunday Bloody Sunday" as a cover it really showcases Zoli's vocals like you can't imagine; superb.

Absolutley amazing, Ignite hasn't lost a step and this record picks up right where their previous releases have left off. Zoli is still the best singer in hardcore, and after hearing the song Three Days, I almost shit myself. The bridge section in that song is amazing, and I dont know how he could pull off that singing live. Overall a 5 out of 5, and its the album of the year so far for me.

Fav. tracks. Three Years(I think its the best song they have ever written), Fear is our tradition, Bleeding, Save Yourself, Know Your History, Strength, Poverty for all and Sunday Bloody Sunday (U2 cover). The acoustic track kicks ass as well.

Holy shit!!! This album is amazing!! IGNITE has been gone for about 6 years, so I was worried about this album. That worry went away after about 2 seconds. They do not let up in this album. Excellent vocals. Zoli is still the best damn singer in hardcore. Don't get me wrong, I love growley shit too. But Zoli sings his ass off, and I am totally digging the layered vocals. This is some high energy shit!! I would have a heart attack dancing in the pit to these songs. I can't believe they didn't drop dead of their hearts exploding just making this album. Totally worth five stars. Yup. Great album!!! I am so glad that they came out with it. This fuckin' rocks!!
