Love Equals Death

(Loose Change,Tsunami Bomb)

Fat Wreck Chords

Released on March 21, 2006

Want to be notified once we get restocked?

Just above San Francisco, there lays the North Bay, where former members of the bands Loose Change and Tsunami Bomb formed LOVE EQUALS DEATH. After releasing two EPs, multiple videos, and a collection of demos on smaller local record labels, we brought LOVE EQUALS DEATH into the FAT family late in 2005 for their first full length, Nightmerica. Bred in the land of Alfred Hitchcock’s "The Birds", LOVE EQUALS DEATH put a darker spin on punk rock. The album’s eleven tracks convey the band’s ability to engage audiences with fist pumping sing-a-long choruses strewn amongst menacing punk rock. The band will support Pennywise and No Use For A Name on a West Coast tour in early ’06, laying the foundation for the release of Nightmerica. The touring does not stop there, expect to see LOVE EQUALS DEATH trough a thick layer of fog in a town near you soon!

Well, not good as I expect but it still an excellent CD to buy! I still prefer Chon Travis' old band, Loose Change!

Well well well when I noticed that this had members of loose change and Tsunami Bomob I wasnt sure what to expect then I saw the cover art and knew exactly what to expect. This is a Dark Punk Rock album. All the songs on the cd are good and really gives ya the old warm feeling of early AFI.

This is real punk rock. If you have ears you will love this band from nor cal. I have been a fan of chon's Music for years and have listened to most of his other bands And I have to say non of them are as good as love equals death. Even their cover of Numb from chon's other band co wrote by afi guitar god Jade PUget sound better when played by love = death. So if you have ears and have like any kind of real rock and roll you will love this album. sounds like Billy Idol, the Misfits, Danzig, afi But truly original.

After many years I finally have a reason to get out of bed in the morning.
