NOFX

Never Trust A Hippy (Out Of Print)

Fat Wreck Chords 708

Released on March 14, 2006

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

6 new tunes, 2 of which will be on their new record Wolves In Wolves’ Clothing. NOFX will be going to hell for this EP. NOFX’s long standing dislike for hippies has just taken on a whole new meaning, with the realization that the hippy of all hippies was in fact Jesus! The six new songs on Never Trust A Hippy aren’t just about hippies and Jesus, although both are scrutinized sufficiently. NOFX remain on course in their quest to demolish the boundaries of punk rock with the dub/post-punk/beatles-inspired "Marxist Bros." Fear not, they make good on delivering some instant fun time party music with "Seeing Double At The Triple Rock". Social consciousness finds it’s way into the stripped down acoustic song "You’re Wrong", crazy for punk rock, eh?

Simple:

Best two tracks from "Wolves in Wolves' Clothing", the best acoustic song by a punkband and three other kickass songs (Everything in Moderation is one of the best songs Fatty has written in a long time).

This was well worth the money I paid for it. Every song on it was good. I only wish that every song on it would have been exclusive to this cd, and not have a few that were also on wolves in wolves clothing.

The NoFx "Never Trust A Hippy" review in norwegian..!!! Just to please the loyal scandinavian NoFx fans who doesnt understand english, and wonder why they gonna buy this brilliant piece of art work!

First song was pretty cool, Marxist brothers was cool, now I wanna learn about Marxism. Hah i hate when i want to learn about something after hearing/reading about it..more money to blow on stuff. the other songs kicked ass especially "Everything in moderation (especially moderation)". buy it, and the new album.
