Turn Up The Punk, We'll Be Singing (Remastered)

Deep Elm 443

Released on February 28, 2006

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

We said it before: LATTERMAN rules...and this re-mastered, re-designed, re-release of their classic debut Turn Up The Punk, We'll Be Singing proves that this band has ruled from day one. Overflowing with positivity, originality and most importantly heart, it reminds us what we loved about the scene in the first place: friendship, standing up for what you believe in and the notion that together we can change the world. No doubt, LATTERMAN has always had an affinity toward belting out melodic, footstomping punk rock as if their lives depended on it, which only lends to the sincerity of a record that has stood the test of time and served as a irreplaceable document to Long Island DIY. While much has changed in the past three years, the ideals held true on Turn Up The Punk, We'll Be Singing still remain...whether it's a notion as basic as staying positive or something more complex like challenging patriarchy, homophobia and racism. As for LATTERMAN, they've never stopped believing in the core message that Turn Up The Punk, We'll Be Singing screams with every note: Let's make a difference in the place we live!

This shit fucking rips. i need to see these guys live. I love how theyre so positive about things.... very poppy music, with shouted vocals. Kinda reminds me if lifetime had a shouter for a singer, but i dont think that does justuice. Any ways, get this shit, its soo good. Pop punk at its finest

I wish I could give it a 6 or a 7. It's a little more upbeat than "no matter where we go...!" I'd say it's just as good as that CD, if not better. This CD is awsome and so is this band. They're almost like hot water music, just better. They've quickly become one of my favorites after buying "no matter where we go...!". Their positivity is an awsome change from the trendy mall-core, nu metal, screamo stuff that Victory and MTV2 are pumping out. I love this band, I love this CD and I love "no matter where we go...!" I'd reccomend it to anyone. As the song title goes... "yo! get into it!"
