Good Lord, could this guys rock any harder? This is a perfect sophomore effort from MCR, delivering up 13 tracks in the same vein as their first album. My only complaint is that none of the songs jumped out and grabbed me like their first album, but I chalk that up to a lack of repetition in listening rather than a degradation of skill on their part. "Give 'Em Hell, Kid" and "Helena" are definately the stand out tracks here. This is a must have for anyone who is a fan of their first album, and even though I liked it slightly less than their first album, it still gets the big 5 stars.

i liked their first cd alot more than this one. this cd is still good, but it seemed like with this release they blew up over night. plus i think their singer is a davey havok wanna be. i like this band and all but i think they could have done a better record, i hope their next release, they put fourth a better effort. and i hope with their next release, they are not all over MTV and on the cover of every magazie.

This cd was Frickin' awesome! If you already liked the song Helena and I'm Not Okay I Promise, you will defenitly love the other songs they put on the cd. My Chemical Romance really show off how talented they are on this cd! It was really worth every dime!

this is probably one of the greatest cd's i've heard in a while...if it wouldn't have been the cd that made MCR a household name it'd get a 5. I've watched this band since they started, it dissapoints me that they fell victim to MTV. Their first cd in my opinion is way better...less made for mtv moments. but overall this is a great cd...great buy

I bought this CD, I was really curious about it. I heard "I'm not Okay" on TV and I kinda loved it. I hate FagCore and Screamo and all those little emo shits that destroys the Punk Scene with the labelling and all that stuff, but MCR doesn't sound as lame as other trendy Emo bands.
I was anxious when I saw reviews that, much of the times, said nothing really great about the record.
After a listening, it's not that bad, honestly. The whole record doesn't sounds like "I'm not Okay", but it sounds great. I'm shy to say I had a great time while listening "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge".
So, for the curious, buy it, you'll probably be surprised.
It looks more like 3 and a half stars, but not 4, so I'll give 3.

Very good cd.Great band.Awesome live show. This is a huge step from "You Brought Me Your Love..."The whole cd is about rising from the grave for revenge.Gerrard's vocals have got a lot better. The music is what I like to call "epic."There's not as much screaming on this album, more singing. But, If you enjoyed the first cd, you'll love this on.I would, and have, recommended this cd to all my friends.Get it now. UNLEASH THE FUCKING BATS.
