This is a vibrant 90-minute documentary of the all-too-brief life and times of Kid Dynamite. Between 1997 and 2000, this Philadelphia band changed the
face of modern hardcore with their poignant and passionate sing-along anthems. Highlighted by nineteen raging live performances and a six song miniset
from a recent CBGB reunion, the DVD reveals Kid Dynamite's guts: the personalities and their stories (as told by the band, friends, and fans), the
music and the motivation, life at home and on the road, and the process of putting the band together only to watch it prematurely fall apart. Features
members of Lifetime, Paint It Black, None More Black, Good Riddance, and The Loved Ones. For fans of Black Flag, Lifetime, Minor Threat, Dag Nasty.

i love kid dynamite and to hear their story from not only the band but friends and managers and roadies is awesome. the dvd itself is really well put together and the live footage is amazing. its incredible to see the impact a single band can have with only two full lengths and a couple of tours.

I'm not gonna say much, the other reviews do a good job, so read them. All I'm going to say is this DVD is worth every penny and I've watched it over many times. The feature is great, spanning the whole life of the band, and the commentary is hilarious. Dan Hause and Colin McGinniss make this DVD. Jason Shevchuk did a very good job at putting this together, so if you're a fan of the band or you'd like to hear and learn more about them, don't even hesitate, this is a no-brainer

THE DVD HAS FINALLY COME OUT. After getting Cheap Shots Youth Anthem it felt like forever waiting for this DVD to come out and it lived up to the hype. The DVD covers the band from its Philly roots to its reunion show. If you have never heard of this band, you don't listen to good music, and if you have heard of this band, you should own this CD. The commentary from the band and their friends is halarious and Dave Hause's stories and voices are great too, not to mention their live footage which is priceless; something you might never see again in any punk rock band. If you didn't get the hint yet from everyone else, buy this DVD now.

I shouldn't even be writting a review for material from this band since everyone who knows em' understands that everything is gold. This DVD tells the story of the band from start to finish, incorporating live shows, interviews by roadies, friends and the members themselves and other cool stories you'll have to see. When you start watching it you'll want to continue to the end cause its pretty interesting! Kid Dynamite didn't last long but it seems like they did. Anyways, before you buy this DVD, buy their cds. You'll know what to expect.

Awesome DVD. It is basically the story of Kid Dynamite and some other funny stuff. It had lots of live footage in it too. Lots of cool one on one interviews and group interviews. Basically it was a very jawesome DVD. If you are a Kid Dynamite fan or just a Hardcore Punk fan I would recommend buying this DVD.

To put it simply, if you really like Kid Dynamite, you'll love this DVD. The stories from both the band and their friends are great (not to mention Dave Hause and Colin Mcginnis are HILARIOUS). The live footage is alright- soundwise some clips are better than others, and the video tends to be somewhat grainy, but it doesn't really matter because you can see how much energy goes on during their live performances.
Did I mention how goddamn funny Hause and Mcginnis are? They have some great extras on the DVD as well, like more tour stories (the "feather duster", "glass eye", "misfits jacket"...), and even a whole commentary to themselves.
anyways- if you like the band, it's worth getting. KD is a band thats meant a lot to me over the years, and this DVD put a big smile on my face.

The big question is, how is the DVD? In one word? Awesome. This DVD basically is a summary of Kid Dynamite. It tells how it started, shows what went on during their active years, how they broke up, and talked about their reunions. It shows clips of their shows and has tons of interviews from bandmates, roadies, and friends. The stories the people tell are great, and the show clips are actually watchable, and you can get a good taste of what it is like to be with the band. I say anyone who is a fan of Kid Dynamite, pick this DVD up. It's well worth it.
