This album will grow on most of you like a rose. The songs are more... epic compared to their debut. It sounds like a soundtrack to the coolest movie ever. There is a little less screamo here and more melodic parts, which works good out. Outstanding track; "Hey, It's Your Funeral Mama".

I really did give them a try. I heard so many good things, had some extra cash, so I thought I'd pick it up over here. I listened to it..for a while too. I just didn't get into it.

Alexison-fucking-fire. These Canada natives are topping charts left and right in Canada, making them famous enough to be able to afford good equipment and stuff, making for a better show, but they're underground enough in America that you can go to a show here and no one will know their name. Watch Out is a lot more Rock n Roll than their s/t album was, but the vocals and guitars are too incredible to put a bad word against. These guys are one of my favorite bands, and everyone should check them out. If you like them, look at their label, Equalvision. They have Bands like CoCa, Fall of Troy, Converge, Hope Conspiracy, and Bear Vs. Shark, all worth checking out. Happy listening!

i was pretty disapointed... this record isnt as goofy, crazy.... its more mature... which is gone in a way i guess, but i loved the first cd for its crazyiness, oh well.

Watch Out is not really the progression I was hoping for from the self-titled. There is definatly progression though. They lyrics are a lot better. And the song writing has improved quite a bit. Its also a lot catchier. If thats all you care about, you'll be pleased.

I am not though.

If you were impressed with the fast technical guitar work, creativity, originality, and unpredictablity of the first album... you're gonna be dissappointed. The cool guitar parts are far and few between. And the creativity has sorta taken a step backwards. They've kinda taken a step towards becoming more like a lot of the "emo'core'" bands out there. They still do it a lot better then most of them, though.

This isn't a bad album. "Accidents" and "Get Fighted" are cool. But fuck... this isn't even close to the first album. The self-titled was something totally unique. This isn't.

Hopefully on the next album they'll be able to use these newly aquired song writting skills and combine them with the creativity they had on the first album. That would be great.

If you like good music, buy the first album.

If you thought new Underoath was better then "Changing Of Times", buy this.

i dunno whats wrong with all the people who gave this crappy reviews, it isnt nearly as bad as you say it is. it can in no way step to their first cd, but it can still hold its own. hell, i hate bands that just sit and wail instead or screaming (like the new blood brothers cd comin out) but this cd is still worth the buy.

Ohhh man...what can i say? Alexisonfire used to one of a kind when they put out thier last cd but with this new one "watch out!" they sound like every other screamo band out there. (atleast these guys can acctually sing though)I guess i would have enjoyed the cd alot more if they changed their name from alexisonfire to something else cause this is deffinetally not the same band as i fell in love with. Do yourself a favor and buy the old cd.If you have some extra money to spend i guess it wouldnt hurt to get this one but deffinetally dont expect to hear what you heard on the first release.

This album is such a progression from their self titled cd. There is plenty of melody and structure this time. I actually enjoy listening to this a lot.
