Panic! At The Disco

A Fever You Can't Sweat Out

Fueled By Ramen 12077

Released on September 27, 2005

This Las Vegas band strives to create a unique sound by blending melody-driven rock with dance. This is a rock record you can dance to; that's fun and sincere at the same time. Produced by Matt Squire (Northstar, The Explosion, The Receiving End Of Sirens). Panic! At The Disco is the first band signed to Pete Wentz's (Fall Out Boy) Decaydance Records, a Fueled By Ramen imprint label. "...Imagine The Faint meets The Postal Service with all of the pop sensibilities of a Blink 182" - Peter Wentz.

For some reasons i bought this cd. well, not really punk but it's good enough to listen to it. well maybe not. I think you should find some mp3 before you buy this, to make sure you didn't waste money. You like or not. That's it!

This CD is horrendous. Biggest waste of money ever. If I was given a second chance, I would gladly flush my money down a dirty toilet before buying this. It has some of the worst lyrics I have ever heard ("When I say shot gun you say wedding" ... no). Don't buy into the hype; this CD is not worth it.

This CD just didn't do it for me. A couple good songs but on the weaker ones it seems like they tried to make up for it by adding funky synth/electronic sound effects. Good, not great.

people constantly rip these guys for sounding like fall out boy ... but is that bad? the vocals are similar, but the music is a little darker with pianos & keyboards being quite prominent. the songs are infectious and will get stuck in your head for days. if you like fall out boy or the academy is, then i highly recommend this band. if you don't, then unplug your ears cuz this is some of the best music out right now!

I bought this cd for my cousin because she wanted it for christmas. She was so excited to get it, she ripped it open and put it in her cd player wanting me to listen to it. Now im a fan of old school fast punk(BadReligion,Lagwagon,NOFX) but am open minded to all types of music. with that said, this is probably the most unoriginal trendy piece of crap i have ever heard. If you have a Fallout Boy CD, dont buy Panic! At the Disco. enough said. it is that bad.
