This CD was a nice taste of cursives original style. Some of the songs from the old vinyls were more then just remastered, they were re-recorded. It's worth a buy for any real cursive fan, ESPECIALLY if you havn't heard any of the vinyl material before, it's masterful. Please buy this album.

Not as good as I had expected it to be. These guys are really good but their best stuff is the Ugly Organ. Everything else is just a step below. If you want to be completely blown away by strange sounding music, pick up The Ugly Organ. Do it !

I have picked up all of Cursives releases as they came out from the early 7"s...my favourite stuff of thiers also is the old 7"s so i was pretty happy to see the out of print vinyl make it to CD...only complaint being the fact that all the tracks have been mixed up in order and dont follow the chronilogical order of release. It has thier two best releases on here the "sucker and dry" 7" and the "disruption" 7".... these are awesome representations of the band in thier early energetic best ...if you only know the later stuff like "domestica" or "ugly organ" i urge you to pick up this awesome collection of where this band started....
