Hairball 8 05

Released on July 25, 2006

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

The Rocketz are a Los Angeles, CA based high-octane trio bridging the gap between psychobilly and neo-rockabilly. Blending horror movie/serial killer motifs into almost every single song on their debut CD Rise of the Undead, The Rocketz display a sense of macabre humor to go along with their superb musicianship and songwriting abilities. For fans of Misfits, Reverend Horton Heat, Guana Batz, The Cramps, Nekromantix and Tiger Army.

Aug 6 2005 Rating: 5/5 Stars

This album is great. But I am a bias because I love anything rockabilly/psychobilly/punkabilly. This album has a much more rockabilly groove to it and yet the songs have the energy of a psychobilly album. The guitarist/vocalist can belt out harmonies that fit perfectly with the music. This is a great record and definitely worth picking up if you like any genre of billy.
