I can honestly say this is one of my favourite CDs in my entire collection. the Number 12 combine elements of grindcore, emo, screamo and metal to make 12 songs with something new and different to enjoy in each track. Category, the last song, is one of my favourites just because it starts off with grindcore screaming, switches to powermetal, and then all of a sudden calms down to melodic dance music. If you're a fan of spastic music with constant changing, this cd is your new best friend. pick it up.

This is a great album. #12 has a very distinct sound- high-pitched Locusty scream vocals over extremely fast and technical guitar and drum lines with a few completely out of left field interludes. The recording is general pretty good, but you can't hear the bass at all during a lot of it, and sometimes the drums are a little sloppy. Sometimes they'll be playing a riff that is almost incredibly awesome, but it never builds or pays off, and they just switch to something completely different all of sudden. I guess that's just part of their style, but I can't help but think this could have been better if they spent more time tweaking their songwriting.

Number 12 are on to something. They put together great sound with immense talent and seem to be in constant evolution. Nuclear Sad Nuclear does not disappoint the mentioned trend or in general.

Number 12 come forth with their full length. Both of their previous recordings have been building up to this. The dual vocalists are amazing and provide depth. The metal riffs are all over the place. Flamenco (sp?) guitar playing pops up every once in a while. Fans of Genghis Tron, Into the Moat, and curlupanddie will enjoy this very much, but don't be intimidated. This is very listenable. The two tracks from the ep are slightly different, so pick that up as well.
