Haste The Day

When Everything Falls

Solid State

Released on June 28, 2005

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

There's something so incendiary about a solid metal show that pulls an audience in, one by one. With a wailing lead guitar combined with throaty growls and an explosion of moshing onlookers, metal allures the masses to join, and then doesn't let go. It's no wonder then that Indiana-born Haste The Day have charmed audiences with that same flurry of their musical onslaught. It seemed no one could miss Haste The Day as they hit the road with everyone from As I Lay Dying to Zao and Strung Out.

These guys are completly ridiculous...in the most amazing way possible. They can't be beaten when it comes down to sweet ass riffs and breakdowns, plus Jimmy's unique scream just makes this record alot of fun to listen to...its personal and emotional, but not bogged down by a an overwhelming shitty death metal growl...These guys are the top of the line when it comes to metal (metalcore...whetever you wanna call it) and I highly recomend picking up this disc. Haste the Day has ruined the scene in Indiana because no one can be as good as them, so everyone else just sound sub-par. If you like As I lay Dying and Norma Jean, and It Dies Today...buy this album right now.

Haste The Day has just completed their new album, but "When Everything Falls" is for sure a must have if you like these guys. This is pure metalcore and Stephen Keech´s voice is to my opinion one of the best for this genre.

These guys are my new favourite band! Ive never been a massive fan of the numetal sound, but HTD are the perfect mix of screamo and numetal you will ever hear! The screaming sounds like a rabid panther on speed yet the singing is beautifully melodic! I cant stress enough how good these guys are! Alot of people i have spoken to dont like their sound but its unique and i love it!

Only comparisons i could make would maybe be As I Lay Dying and It Dies Today, but HTD are much much much better then them!

BUY THIS FUCKIN ALBUM!
