I don't get what the big deal about this CD is. I listened to it a few times, and even though it starts strongly with "With A Thousand Words To Say But One" and ends back at the strength of the beginning with the epic (and I love epic) "Tranquil," the middle... I dunno. I wouldn't call it weak as such; it just didn't grab me. Is this really the album of the decade? Maybe I need to give it a few more listens.

I was so overly excited for this album to drop that I think my expectations were too high. This is a solid Metal Thrash album from these veterns. I would have to say Mark Of Judas is still a better album. But regardless still a solid release.

Great album for any Darkest Hour fans. It lived up to the hype as "Album of the Decade". They have really stepped it up from there last cd and released a great one. I suggest you buy it ASAP!

FUCK YEAH!! ROAR! Okay, this album is sick. Sicktastic. 100% Sick-gnar. Older Darkest Hour is good--Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation was real good--but this straight up is their best work. Faaaaaar more melodic than their other work. More complex guitar work (e.g. solos, etc.), some vocal variety, and even the drumming was stepped up a few knotches. This album has a lot of Swedish sound (akin to In Flames and Dark Tranquility) but is still VERY much Darkest Hour. Great album. 5 stars. Destroy
