As one of the most popular groups to emerge in the post-grunge alternative rock aftermath, Weezer received constant praise from critics and fans for their hook-heavy guitar pop.

With each new release since their 1994 debut, Weezer has sharpened their wicked edge and raised the bar in alternative pop. Their sound has always combined ear-bleed power with uncanny nuance; their songs provide easy-access hooks and melodies for Cuomo's unique lyrics - candid and elusive, painful yet painted in hues of dark humor.

i actually bought this for my mom. it sounds a lot more mainstream oriented. not like the blue album at alll, which is the only weezer album i really love. the green album was better than this one too. it sounds like a lot of filler with a couple radio-oriented songs. a lot of the lyrics sound like middle school poetry, and usually weezer writes great heavy songs. this was a pretty big disappointment

Not the same old good weezer like in the past. Peace, perfect situation, and The Damage in your heart are the songs I like from this cd. But then there are some very disapointing ones. Beverly Hills, Are you kidding me? At least Dope Nose and Hash Pipe were 1/2way decent. This is just shit. Some songs are far too poppy for me. But I guess give it a shot if your a big weezer fan, but more than likely you already have.

alright, nothing special. i like a few of the songs, mainly "peace" and "perfect situation". those are both really good songs. the album's really poppy, i don't think it's really emo it's just poppy. so, that's a warning. a fine CD to burn, but i doubt i would spend money on it twice.

This is an ok cd, but nothing special. Spend your money on some of Weezer's older stuff like The Blue Album, or Pinkerton.

Of course, its no Blue Album, but its pretty good. A bit more emo than the Weezer that I like, but altogether a pretty good album.

Another unique release from Weezer. Not their finest but not bad either. The music in itself is great but some of the song lyrics are downright embarrasing.

By far best weezer I've heard. It's still got the cassic weezer feel like the blue album but has a new edge. It's a sweet cd with alot of good songs. Buy this one you'll want it for your collection!
