Fear Before The March Of Flames

Odd How People Shake

Rise 24

Released on June 17, 2003

Dynamic, chaotic and enthralling, Colorado screamo rockers Fear Before The March Of Flames drop their debut CD. Thrashing around like a wounded animal, Odd How People Shake is a potent sinus-clearing assault on the senses with enough raw rabid emotion and inflicting noise to seize your short attention span until it's ready to let you go. For fans of the Blood Brothers, Hopesfall and Norma Jean.

I always heard bad things about these guys as art crap and other derogatory (mispelled I'm sure) terms, but the first half of this album is amazing. The second half lacks the intensity of the first half. Worthwhile purchase though. The new Art Damage is waaaaaay better (much more Botch influenced, less singing) so I would say grab that after you get used to the band on this album. Otherwise this album might sound crappy compared to the new one. Oh, and Botch fucking rules ... errrr ... ruled.

Wow, this album is much better than their latest release, Art Damage. This one is so much more different than all other hardcore bands, where as Art Damage is just standard stuff. If you're just getting into them, buy this one first. -justin

Top notch spazzcore from fear before, though not as good as art damage due to its over use of melodies but this record blends more styles together, its an awesome album that takes a little while to get into but it'll go well next to your blood brothers/to die for/#12 looks like you cd's
