Aaaaaaah finally a full length cd from BTD! I have been waiting a while for this baby. Even better than their EP's. Some good screamo songs on here as well as a couple knock your socks off hard songs. Their songs are so good because they are so meaningful and personal. Depressingly the original drummer has passed away, but it was after they made this cd. The guy had lukemia and still recorded this fucking CD and shot a music video with the band while he was dying of the horrible disease. That diserves a lot of respect. This cd sounds a lot like they do live too, (I strongly recomend seeing them live). Very passionate and deserve to get the success they want.

this reminds me a bit of Norma Jean somehow. probably the screeching vocals. clean vocals are included too of course, not bad at all compared to others. it's kind of a mix between punkrock/emo/screamo. pretty good album, i probably like the track "confessions" most.

-Before Checking these guys out I found out the drummer was dying of cancer and pulled out of his hospital bed to do the drums on this album ( Which are amazing ) and passed on just before the release date.

This style of music isn't really my style that I like, but knowing what they went through to record this just made the cd have something so much more than the music. There are a lot of bands doing this but Bleed The Dream does it the best.

The songs vary a lot, it kind of reminds of the first Finch cd but better. Regardless of the typical screamo songs there are very powerful, fast, and aggresive emo songs. As well as some very great heavy hardcore songs and parts.

You can tell these guys wrote this cd straight from the heart, no bullshit, they are pure legit.

I don't listen to these types of bands, but Bleed The Dream has something about them that is so much more than music. Please everyone check out songs 1,2,5,10 before judging them as just another band that does the same shit thats out there. This is coming from a straight hardcore only kid too. Take my advice, this cd is real and it will change your life. Bleed The Dream, I hope you read this
