New York City’s premier female-fronted Punk Rock band is back with their first proper studio album. Founded in March of 2000 by Johnny Kray (the KRAYS) and NYC Punk Rock promoter/booking agent Adi "Monsta" Evron (Punknite Productions), the NEW YORK REL-X have been busting ass non-stop since day one. They have toured the U.S. and Europe, playing with legendary acts and current Punk Rock greats like the ADICTS, UK SUBS, U.S.BOMBS, LOWER CLASS BRATS, the KRAYS, the THREATS, the MISFITS, DEADLINE, AGNOSTIC FRONT, SLAUGHTER & the DOGS, the EXPLOITED and DISCHARGE. Now after five years of touring and solidifying a line-up that has the best chemistry and work ethic possible, the NEW YORK REL-X have completed their first full length studio album for TKO. Sold Out Of Love chronicles the ups and downs of the band’s first five years of existence. It’s record full of battle scars and broken hearts- a view of life on the road in the US and Europe as seen through the eyes of these tireless champions of Punk Rock.

I just like the singers voice so much. Reminds me so much of L7's singer. Great cd. The one she adores is great and so is no way out. Must have for fans of L7 and Lunachicks.

I can't get enough of Erika's voice. They have a great sound. However, I think I enjoyed the first album a bit more. This is more melodic and slower but still packs a punch.

i was really reallly really really really dissapointed with this cd. i had the rel-x paranoia on vinyl and that was the shit. fuckin fast chord changes, good energy and good lyrics. now this cd is proof of what happens when good punk bands get over produced......you get rancid's indestructible or music that sounds like shitty ass fuckin 80's metal. the guitars sound horrible....no fast chord changes and it does just sound like metal. and all the bitch sings about is crappy emo shit. its soo bad i get embarrassed listening to the album by myself. she needs to stop dating assholes and find a dork or something. god this album sucked.

Simply put, amazing cd! I had never even heard of the band before, but after hearing a 30 second clip of "The one She Adores" I knew this band had something going and I had to have the cd. I bought it and I have to say that even though they didnt handle anything political in this cd it is still an soilded fast punk rock album.
