this release feels like somewhat of a ripoff from the dwarves. i was quite excited when i saw "remix" because of the direction the dwarves have moved in on their last couple records. i was expecting actual remixes of songs from the last album. what you get though is this track by track:
1. and edited version of "massacre" all this is is massacre off of must die with the curse words taken out. 2. christ on a mic (instrumental) this is actually pretty cool in my opinion. it's exactly what it says it is but i love the music on that song so i enjoy the instrumental version. nothing is changed though. 3. head right re-mix. i'm not sure where head right comes from but this version has drum machine and is pretty good. 4. fefu (edit) this again is simply fefu from must die with the curse words replaced with sexual noises. no changes musically whatsoever. 5. kids today from rock against bush vol. 2. this is exactly the same version as is on rab vol. 2.
so basically you're not really getting a remix album at all. i was let down, but christ on a mic and head right made me give this release a two out of five. i wouldn't recommend buying unless you're a huge dwarves fan or a collector.
