"remember right now" was a great release, and i anxiously awaited this album, only to be let down hard! this album is nowhere near as musically catchy or lyrically thoughtful as their last album. the music has a heavier edge, but that takes away from the melody. it's feels like a poor effort thrown together with no real emotion. unless you're a die-hard fan, i'd say skip this release. if you're new to them, buy "remember right now"! i gave it 2 stars for some cool cover art and a few decent songs.

So far, I think their previous cd is better, but it also took some time for it to grow on me. I like the songs though, they're catchy. It's a different sound than the previous album without totally changing the band's sound. The one dissapointment is that it appears there is a duplicate on the cd. I'm not sure if this was intentional? But song #3 (Gold Dust vs. State of Illinois) and song #4 (What Were You Thinking?) appear to be the same. I recommend this band and cd though!
