This CD quickly became a staple in my cd collection. The songwriting is brilliant, with production to match! One of the most talented singers in this genre today!

All i have to say is that this album is amazing. I was skeptical at first, i mean, it's a christian band...Yuck! BUT i was surpised, even though there subtle hints towards god, etc, if noticed, can be 'annoying'. BUT ANYWAYS He can really, really sing Songs are catchy, and motivating Guitar work is uplifting hrm what else to add... THE SONGS starts strong with never take friendship personal, and my personal favorite, Paperthin Hymn. Then moving on to the lack luster song, Stationary Stationery. And mellowing out with amazing vocals in (the symphony of) blase`. They next few songs have catchy lyrics, but overall are forgetable. The Feel Good Drag, brings this cd to 'the max' if i may say, the somewhat screaming vocals, are sure get you moving and screaming along with. Audrey, Start a Revolution, has a start of a great song, yet it dissappoints halfway through. The instrumental, A Heavy Hearted Work of Staggering Genius, is nothing special. And the conclusion is well not good. BUT overall, with all good and bad, this album is still amazing. AND worth buying!

This is easy listening at it's best. I just put this on in the background when I'm doing homework and shit. Can't really sit and just listen to it though, it doesn't really hold my attention.

this a good album, but i have to give it less than their first album, cuz there's just something missing. the songs are still strong (a little heavier), but i can't get into it as much as their debut. as a positive, it lacks the cliche screaming of most bands in this genre. the singer can actually sing and that's adds an extra punch. buy this along with the debut for the full impact.

again, ignore sean (below) cuz he's a little too simple-minded to realize that they are not preaching. they are religious guys, but it's not expressed in the lyrics!

Very good. Sounds like some bands of tooth and nail (emery for example, but still original and different from all the popular sh** of today.

Singer's voice is terrific, beautiful.

about time i got this one. very poppy but oh so relaxed album. the vocals are.. i don't know. you have to get used to it i guess. at first i didn't like the vocals very much, but after a few spins they sound great. the music itself is very catchy and well written. my favorite track is "(the symphoy of) blasé" which is amazingly beautiful.
