Reissue of "True Till Death" with bonus tracks from the Nourish The Flame Split. Now signed to Bridge Nine Records, this Massachusetts band play "hard hitting, no frills hardcore from Boston for fans of Madball, Integrity, and Shattered Realm" which is a pretty good description. Thick, beefy metallic riffs, plenty of gang backups, and ultra-hard vocals... a mix of chugga chugga style metalcore with crazy beatdown parts.

If you listen to hardcore than you should have this album or their new one "FRIENDS FAMILY FOREVER." Death Before Dishonor plays with a brutal non compromised style that makes for great beatdown music such as 100 demons or what have. The sound quality of this record has nothing on Friends Family Forever, but both albums offer an assault of listening euphoria, pick both of them up if you already havn't, you won't be dissapointed.

Rating:

Death Before Dishonor is brutal hardcore for the hardest of the hardcore. True Till Death is 14 track anthem in the true spirit. With all that said, I love the little answering machine calls at the end of track 3 and 14. Depressed much? Crazy angry bitch much?
