Monster Squad (Northern California)

Strength Through Pain

Charged 22

Released on November 16, 2004

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

N. California’s Monster Squad are one of the hardest working bands in the scene today. Monster Squad like their label mates Frontline Attack are heavly influenced by early American Hardcore while mixing it with sing a long Brit punk. These guys could easily fit a bill of straight ahead hardcore you’d hear on Bridge 9 records just as easily as they do on tour with the Casualties. This is their first full length, they have a split CD and 4 way split on Rodent Popsicle Records.

3.5 generic street punk...but they do rock and it's worth buying with your extra cash. truth is despite the formula approach involved they do it really well and it's a fun listen. good to drink and break things to!

This is probably my second favorite release from Charged Records. I had to listen to this CD a few times before I really liked them, but a lot of the songs on this album are amazing, there are only two songs on the entire CD that I dislike. If you are a fan of the bands that Charged Records puts out, I would definatley recomend this CD.

Monster squad is a hella good cd. street punk all the way. If you like fast punk than you would like this cd.they sound almost like the UNSEEN but with a mix of TOTAL CHAOS.

awesome straight up hardcore punk album. D.F.A. is my favorite song on here, but i can listen to the entire album straight without having to skip a song, which is very rare for me

This is really good punk rock in the same style as bands such as cheap sex, clit 45 and action. Good production and well written songs. Its on charged so that should give you some idea of what this band is like.

A good cd from a decent street punk band...Get it if ya' like street punk! A 4 out of 5. This cd has its moments! American hardcore meets mellow street punk! The band doesnt do any new tricks here...just great street punk!
