This is the original demo recording from American Nightmare/Give Up The Ghost and features 4 tracks which originally appeared on a cassette tape before being released on Malfunction. Give Up The Ghost began their influential life as "American Nightmare" in 1999. The band were forced to change their name due to copyright issues in 2003. They were arguably one of the most important hardcore bands ever.

American Nightmare at it's most raw! Definitley agree with the liner notes of how crappy this is... but it's still A.N. So if you like them get it. If you collect records then get it.

American Nightmare are amazing. Background Music should be on everybodys top ten lists. This is good just to have in your collection. there are better versions of the songs on CD but hardcore was never about good recordings haha.

this is a pretty cool 7". i like the liner notes in which the ex-bandmates basically say this sucks. the quality is pretty bad, but pretty cool anyway.

First of all AN are probaply one of the best HC bands ever and it really sucks that they broke up and some dumb fuckers sued them cause of their name. with thatin mind the songs on here don't really sound good you can hear a better version of all of them on "year one". but if you are a big fan its definetly worth the money. and how fucking punk rock is it that it says American Nightmare on the cover so if your a fan definetly get this but if your new to them check out "Backround Music" or "Year One"

R.I.P. Not innovative, but damn fun. I would suggest getting this 7" before it gets pulled because of the name. You would be doing yourself a favor.
