Slackers
Redlight CD

Hands down the best Slackers release. It sounds really good, all the songs are nothing short of perfect. Highly recommended for all those so-called ska kids nowadays. THIS is almost as real as the real deal gets, forget about your reel big fishes and your less than jakes. This is the band you really should listen to.

Please Press Me CD

A highly enjoyable release, this album. I don't know why more people aren't buying this album. It kinda sounds like early Vandals with less humor, Kill Your Idols, and a tidge of NYHC thrown in for the mosh-factor. Good Stuff. I'm looking forward to maybe seeing them come to town in the future.

Its good. Different than "Reinventing..." but thats what makes AM! so cool, they don't try the same sounds over and over. Still, I gotta admit, I like the original sound better..

Excellent, excellent, excellent! This is the way it should be. I'm glad McColgan's back in the game. For fans of early Dropkick Murphy's (obviously), The Hudson Falcons, etc. Oh yes, I'll be drinkin' to this one for sure.

Strike Anywhere owns. This is an EXCELLENT follow up album. These guys are going places, no doubt. This and their other Jade Tree album proove it. Go see them play with the bouncing souls and leave after Strike Anywhere, they're a hard band to follow.

I agree with every other review I've read of this album. Definitely not as good as "Background Music", but not a terrible album in the least. It has some good songs, and some songs that just don't do it for me. Actually a lot better than what I thought it was gonna be, I heard a few songs on a free comp from interpunk on time and I thought it was a completely different band than GUTG...

Not bad, not bad at all. At first listen you sort of hear every other punk band out there, then each other listen after that, they kinda grow their own style and it makes it an album of its own...

This CD is...well...nothing special really. Its Funny, but only after the first time you listen to it. Then the humor gets a little stale and childish. But its also very catchy music, with good horn-lines and such, but the main reasons to like these guys is their show. If you've seen them you know what I'm talking about...

Whoa, this cd is quite good. Its like 80's metal, but for the new millenium. Think Iron Maiden, but more hardcore, if thats even possible. The production of the album sounds a little flat at first, but then as the album goes on, it seems to grow bigger and more epic in size, and then it starts to really grow on you. Good stuff, glad i found out what all the hooplah over this album was about.

Ahhh, these guys are great. German Pyschobilly for the masses. Fans of the Nekromantix or Tiger Army will like these guys a lot. A great driving CD if you're on an empty road in the middle of nowhere and feel like goin' CRAZY!
