Yeah, I'm Irish. Yeah, I like to drink. But, you know what lads and lasses? "Swagger" rocked my face and got my toes a-tappin'. Here on "Drunken Lullabies" it seems Flogging Molly is trying too hard to garner new attention. Mellowing out to win over more fans when every show is jam-packed. Don't get me wrong, it's a polished, well executed effort with a few gems hidden throughout. But for a first-time listner of FM, grab yourself a copy of "Swagger," toss back several pints of Guiness and get rollin'. Listen to this album the next morning when your head hurts too much to handle real rockin'.

Flogging Molly is HELLA cool! These guys play some of the best music these ears have ever heard. When I pop it in, it hits me with an amazing sound of melodic sweetness. I wish I could give them more than a 5. Like a 5.067. Because, that is what they truly deserve. Not this bullshit 5! 5.067!! Anyhoo.. Flogging Molly is really great. I still can't decide which is better, this or Swagger. They both are DAMN good. I reccommend this cd highly. Buy it. Buy Swagger. Buy the Mermaid tee. Buy Flogging Molly stuff. Later, folks. ~~ Patrick O'Gallagher

This band kicks ass.I saw them last year and i'm gonna see them this year too. this cd is very good so go buy it right now.

Yee-hawww! Shane MacGowan should obviously be consulting his laywers with regards to songwriting copyright infringement, but I believe he's too busy pickling his entire being right now, so if he don't care, then I don't either!

This album is a marked improvement over "Swagger" and it's just a good ol' fashioned Irish knees up 'til the final track drifts from your speakers. Not sure about all this fake Irish punk nonsense but at least the singer was born in Dublin....unlike Dropkick Murphys.....hmm...isn't Al Barr of Scottish descent!?? Shhhh....don't tell the kids...

5/3/2002 by Griffin from Otisville, NY Rating:
This is a very respectable album. Not quite as good as Swagger, but it's got some kickass tunes on it and Flogging Molly is an overall great band. Songs like Drunken Lullabies and What's Left of the Flag and Rebels of the Sacred Heart are among the best. The last half of the album drags, but the first half makes up for it. If you have the chance, go see these guys live, they are amazing. Dave King had got to be one of the greatest front men in the business. It's awesome how all seven pieces of this band can all work together so perfectly, especially at the live shows where they're fuckin electrifying. Buy the album or get the good songs on kazaa or something, they are a must have for any respectable punker.

Another great Flogging Molly cd. The first couple of songs ur like damn didn't i just hear that song? But after a few more beers you'll be dancing around. I can't wait to see em in Rochester in a couple weeks and then at Warped Tour! This CD is most definately worth buying and is just as great if not better than Swagger.

3/27/2002 by Billy from Midway, AR Rating:
A GREAT cd from a GREAT band! I love this band since I saw them on the Warped Tour last year, these guys know how to kick ass, and is probably the best Irish-Punk band EVER!!

3/24/2002 by Christopher from North Easton, MA Rating:
i saw these guys on the warped tour last year and i'm totally hooked. all and all a good cd, although i liked swagger better. i was not disappointed in it though and if you liked swagger you'll like this one

3/23/2002 by Chris from Wayne, NE Rating:
This album is a good one if you are tired of everyone sounding the same. It's celtic meets punk meets Jimmy Buffet, a great followup to Swagger.

3/22/2002 by Ronald from Erda, UT Rating:
It is an awesome cd if you liked swagger you will love this one also! it is a must have for all you pirites in mollys' army!
