lets just say that all the nifty super trendy scremo stuff came about as a public phenomonom after this. i mean serioously this cd really kicks ass. but for all the bands that sound exactly like thursday now, your not getting anything by. why dont you make your own original music that sounds o-r-i-g-n-a-l not like you soudn exactly like thursday. use your minds. its not really that hard. mabye we wouldent have so many worthless drones that copy what people do and there will be d-i-v-r-s-i-t-y i mean really.

thursday is great. the 5 or so minute song how long is the night are 5 or so minutes truly spent. and all the other songs are magnificent. well well worth the money if you are into emo, indie, even punk or hardcore. well, actually, no matter who you are or what you like, you will like them so buy this!

Full Collapse is a classic CD and Thursday are an awesome band, I seriously recommend this to anyone, with the stand out singles of “understanding in a car crash” and the awesome “cross out the eyes” this catapulted Thursday into the big leagues with signing major label contracts after there last release on the great Victory Records “five stories falling”. Thursday are now a well known band with there latest addiction “war all the time” which contains the single “signals over the air” which has been played on most music channels, but fall collapse is by far a classic CD full of emotional charge anthems, for fans of Taking back Sunday, Thrice, Finch, Matchbook Romance and the awesome Funeral for a Friend and many other bands.

I bought this CD about six months back and am just getting around to reviewing it because I HATED IT. I guess I was expecting something else. I am not sure what the fuckin hype is all about. I guess there are so few good bands emerging these days that people make a big deal of these bland mediocre bands.

I bought this because everyone said it was so good. A few songs are quality but after a while they all run together and sound the same. Plus, they sound exactly like TBS and any other screamo band.

Everybody says this band is amazing... because they are! There fucking amazing! Emo isnt my cup of tea but this is great. I'd have to say that the best songs are understanding in a car crash, autobiography of a nation, standing on the edge of summer.... oh hell there all great! I happen to like 5 stories falling better, however, because its a little faster and heavier than full collapse, and its recorded quite well for a live CD.
