Suburb DKM release. Al Barr is great. Good punk/folk sound. I'm speaking in sentence fragments. "The Spicy McHaggis Jig" and "Which Side Are You On?" are my favorite songs off here. "Ramble and Roll" is another standout. I'm kind of disappointed, though... the song "Good Rats" is different than the version I had on MP3, and not good-different, either. But still a magnificent release. The tin whistle is cool.

The new Drop Kicks is an excellent album and certainly their best effort. The band has expanded, going from a four piece to (I think) 7 piece. Yes, their sound is a little slower than their previous CDs, but they've also incorporated more Irish traditional instruments and melody. Simply put, it's the kind of album that makes you want to be in a pub with a pint of ale in your hands, waving it back and forth to songs praising the working man.

The boys from Boston have provided me with another batch of rowdy drinking songs! SING LOUD is a bit slower than most of the older stuff,"not to say that's a bad thing." With songs packed with bagpipes and bravado it's quickly becoming my favorite. So put your arm around a comrade, hoist a pint to the Murphy's, and get this C.D.

OK well... I just got this in the mail yesterday and I do have to say that it is a GOOD album. It is not BAD, but it sure is NOT GREAT. Personally, I believe the end was coming for DKM when Mike McColgan left the band and they replaced him with Al Barr, who if you have ever heard his previous band The Bruisers, can't cing 1/2 as well as Mike did. I like the addition of the bagpipes, and the guest appearance from Shane McGowan (The Pogues) is wonderful also. Like I said this is a GOOD album, not great..... not horrid.

Once again the Dropkick Murphys have released a shit hot punk rock album!! From the first song you can tell that they have lost none of their edge, but in every good album, there are always a few mediocre songs. An excellent album that deserves a lot of credit but by no means their best to date!!

Great CD. It is in my opinion that this cd is one of dropkick murphys best. But it does have a few flaws. When i say flaws I mean a very small few. Every cd is not perfect. I recommend that this cd be bought by anyone who claims to be a dropkick murphys fan. Hell I own three.
