It took me a while to get into this CD but once i did i couldn't put it away. Any DBS fan will already have this one so this review is meant for those of you on the fence about buying this. Trust me, once you get into it, there's no getting out.

really good shit man! its hardcore but its just different and thats always good thng, not that i dont appreciate anything thats not. the death incorporates technique with their style. the thing that stands out though is the drums on this album. each song showcases their talent. the death's other albums on epitaph are great too but if you really want to experience the death, check this one out first. i gave it a four because there were not enough guitar "solos" on it.

5/3/2003 by Drew from Annandale, VA Rating:
AMAZING. the death's best work. i don't know why i didn't buy this sooner, seeing as how i've seen these guys a few times before. truly amazing...

3/3/2003 by Jay from Pownal, VT Rating:

Death By Stereo is to punk what System Of A Down is to metal. All their albums hold a unique mix of punk, hardcore, metal, and an intense and truly different vocal style. Although I think the second album "Day of the death" is better than this one, this too, should be in the hands of every respectable record collector's. Can't wait to hear the upcoming "Into the valley of death" album, coming this winter.

12/8/2002 by Fiona from Dover, United Kingdom Rating:
This is Mettalic Hardcore at its best, This sounds alot diffrent from the second album 'Day of the death' is more hardcore but this album is more Fast hardcore punk with metal riffage and raw angst vocals, i like both these albums in equal amounts as this band Rules soo much, get this album becuase this band is amazing, awesome voacals, sweet riffs and a great drum beat to the songs !

ps - i'm joe, not fiona, thats my mums name Lol

Death by stereo is by far one of the best hardcore/punk bands around. This cd was recommended by a friend, so i was a little doubtful about it at first... (as i had only heard their newest album) ...but after listening to it, i was stoked. It's much better than their second album, by far! I definately recommend this cd for anyone who likes heavier punk music.

11/8/2002 by Philip from Hanover, MD Rating:
This CD is fucking awsome i suggest all of you buy this!!! Its cool to know that hardcore still lives even in punks' decline with all these fucking losers like justin from n'snyc wearing a 3 stud belt and a double chain wallet and the band that plays the music for him to whine to is all "punked out" with their dropkick shirts and their chucks... and that other fucker nick from backstreet boys wearing pre-cut & pre-wornout jeans with a some idiot patches on his right knee and his 3 stud belt and leather jacket.. i dont know about you but im sick and tired of "punk" being exploited by losers like these fuckers .. any way i'm getting off subject, well just stop reading this review and buy the cd!!!!

9/22/2002 by Andrew from Newport Coast, CA Rating:
pretty good cd, however i ended up selling it to a friend afer afew month of listening. this is Real punk NOT FUCKING BLINK 182 FUCKING POSER GAY ASS SHIT. blink pisses the fuk out of me and same with all those shitty ass wannabee punk bands. if they were the least bit punk they woodnt be modeling in mainstream music magazines trying to look all cute and pretty then making fukin homo wanabee funny movies on mtv of them running around naked which not even a three year old wood ever laugh at. that is called fucking poser shit and if ur a poser then FUK OFF and get the hell off this site and go kill urself or sumthing cuz ur fucking gay and nobody likes u. and dont waste time trying to sew on some flaming blink patch onto clothing cuz i will fucking rip it off cuz blink is not punk, its for posers and i dont want to see trendy shits running around with BLINK patches thinking that they are too hardcore and punk as fuk.instead sit at home and wait for sum fucking gay ass radio station and wait for them to play blink or sum 41 or linkin parks new pop tune in the top 20 of the week then go to sam goody and see if its on the top 20 charts right next to the eminem and avril lavigne records and maybe u can get a discount. Then go tell everyone that ur fucking punk with the new blink cd. FUKING POSERS................oo ya forgot to mention once u do all that go try to hang with real punks then get ur ass kicked and end up in a trash can cuz ur an embarassment to punks. then u shud get a clue NO MORE POSERS!!!!!!!!!

What can i say about death by stereo. I first downloaded some mp3s and decided to buy both their works. This first cd is awesome, full with fast hardcore/punk songs. Out of the two cds this is the best one. Those guys just rock, they are one of my favorite bands and if any other cd comes to sale ill buy it. Buy this cd, excellent piece of work, you will hear it once, again and again.
