The Groovie Ghoulies are back at what they do best...poppunk. This new installment is full of poppy punk sing-a-longs that definitely brings back my love of poppunk...that was temporarily distracted by the likes of emo, indie, and all the other shit that's been released as of late. Some great picks off the album are songs like School Is In, a light hearted look at Kepi's upbringing by the TV set...or their re-recorded version of Ghoulies are Go!, which was originally released on their World Contact Day album. That song is a definite sing-a-long with their verse, "G-R-O-O-V-I-E G-H-O-U-L-I-E...won't you come along with me, be a groovie ghoulie-e-e-e!" Another great track would be Are You Passionate? A great song that emphasizes that if you don't have any passion in what you do, you shouldn't be doing it at all. Kepi, Roach (Kepi's wife and guitarist), and their new drummer, Scampi, will bring a smile to your face if you listen to their new album. It's good times.

another fantastic release for the Ghoulies. there's a new lineup, with a new chick drummer named Scampi. the lineup doesn't matter, though. Kepi just writes great songs, and everything the band has done in recent years has been flat-out awesome. this album is definitely no exception. my personal faves are "Mess You Up," "Someone is Always Not Happy", "Are You Passionate?", and "Chupacabras." there are also some great re-recordings of some older songs like "Ghoulies are Go!" and "Doin' Fine" (all of which rock quite hard). excellent album. can't wait for the next one.

This album is a must for any ghoulie fan. If you're not a ghoulie fan, buy it anyway because it kicks ass. If ya like the Ramones, you'll love this album. I'll warn you, you may become addicted to ghoulies so buyer beware!

This CD was my first time hearing the Ghoulies, but I recommend it highly. I haven't heard any of their other stuff yet, but I'm going to go get some now. Definitely a solid buy...

Another great album from the ghoulies, buy world contact day, then buy this one. My favourite songs are School is in(which was also on the summer fun cd), Ghoulies are GO!(from world contact day) and 'till death do us party. Buy it, buy it now.

6/21/2002 by Derek from Tucson, AZ Rating:
Kepi, Roachie, and Scampi put together the best scary music you'll ever hear. Don't pass up "Go! Stories". Don't pass up the Ghoulies next show. Don't forget your face paint! Don't forget to pogo-hop to Stardumbs greatest band. Peace in the Middle East!
