I never really sat down and listened to Rancid before I bought this album. I had heard "Ruby Soho" before and thought it was pretty good, but I wanted to know what the hype was all about. Now I know! This album rules!

best rancid album in my opinion. the music is good, the lyrics are good, and everything about it is good. my favorite song would probably be journey to the end of east bay. other awesome songs are the 11th hour, olympia wa, she's automatic, and wars end. all in all a good album, and if you are looking to buy a rancid album buy this one. it's by far their best album. good mix of ska, hardcore, punk, and oi!. amazing album. i give it a 4 cause there are a few boring songs on it, but most of it is great work. sXe

Ahhh, I used to hate rancid. But recently after getting into more ska bands, I have learned to love them. This is considered their best cd but I'm more of a fan of rancid 2000 since I like older hardcore punk. I highly recommend this to fans of ska and great sing along songs.

I heard a lot of good things about this album (such as being the highest point of Rancid), so I decided to buy it. I soon found myself singing along and feeling pretty good about it. After awhile it lost some of the power it originally had with me, and became little more than a novelty. Though every once in a while I still put it in, and enjoy.
